San Antonio, Texas

I eat in San Antonio every so often, so I will continually update this post as I find more food!

Trio Modern Mediterranean  – This is a new restaurant that my mom and I decided to try, while we were at the Forum at Olympia Parkway. I was very cool because you got to build your meal and there are vegan choices! The sauces that are dairy-free are the Lemon Herb Tahini, the Skhug Spicy Sauce, and the TRIO Habanero Heat.

I had the pocket with the regular falafel with rice, mixed greens, hummus, Village Salad, red cabbage, cilantro, and the lemon herb tahini. It was very good, but maybe a little too saucy.

Jerusalem Grill– They have Middle Eastern, Persian, Greek, and Turkish food. We ordered hummus as an appetizer. It was a little on the sweet side for me. It is pretty common that I order Falafel. This is probably because at my family tends to go to a lot of Mediterranean restaurants so that I have something to eat, besides just a salad, and they can still have meat.
